The morning is dedicated to the visit of Funchal: its covered market sheltering fruits, flowers, vegetables, crafts and fish, the old city (15th century) and its painted doors, the cathedral, the municipal garden, the town hall, the church of Jesuits. You will have the opportunity to taste and buy Madeira wine in the most original place of the capital and yet little known "Universal Store". You will have lunch at the restaurant "O Celeiro" in the heart of the city which serves, among other specialties, probably the best octopus in the city.

 Your afternoon is free, so you can go on a boat trip, ride a cable car, visit a garden...

Your gala dinner will take place at the Santa Maria restaurant where local amateurs and connoisseurs reserve to come and eat, among other specialties, bluefin tuna on heated stone or cod fillet confit in olive oil and vegetables .
