We leave for the center of the island for a "nature discovery" day. We will make a stop at the point of view of Ribeira da Janela from where, in good weather, you will admire the spectacular views of the entire north coast. While progressing in our displacement, the altitude rise coincides with the entry in the Laurisilva primary forest, the laurel forest, which dates from the tertiary era, protected by Unesco since 1999. Arrived in Rabaçal, close to at 1,290m above sea level, you are in front of the largest Madeira Valley, the Ribeira da Janela. We will go hiking in the original forest Laurisilva, composed of majestic heather millennia, to the lagoon of 25 fountains. It is the calm, the fullness, the communion with the fauna and the flora that unite in a particularly soothing harmony. You will have a picnic in these places.

Your journey continues with the crossing of the only plateau in Madeira, a privileged place where nature, light and silence blend perfectly. Arrived at Funchal, you will take place in your hotel unit until the end of your stay.

You will dine in one of the two specialist seafood references: either The oldest fish restaurant in Funchal Marisqueira Tropicana or the Gavião Novo.
