Ponta de São Lourenço
At the eastern end of Madeira, hiking in a unique place that gives the feeling of being at the end of the world. Here the climate is semi-arid; the low vegetation and absence of trees warn of the harshness of the weather conditions where wind, rain and sun meet in a raw state. We will be able to admire the great vertical cliffs that fall into the sea, revealing the lava chimneys that have shaped the area. In the distance we see the island of Porto Santo, the deserted islands, the north and south coasts of Madeira. The contrast between the calmness of the ocean in the south and the aggressiveness of the ocean in the north is an experience to be experienced. Picnic lunch. Swimming and boat trip possible.
